This meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Club President Bob Walker, N4CU followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the invocation given by E.Y., WB4CDR.
The meeting was conducted by Club President Bob, N4CU. There were 14 members present.
August minutes were posted on the W4AAZ.ORG website. A motion was made to accept the minutes by Dick, K6SSD. The motion was seconded by Bob, W5RE and carried unanimously by a show of hands to accept the motion with no opposing votes.
The Treasurer was given by David, WB4RWS and approved by membership.
Steve, N4GXX was not present but, consensus from the membership was the 2 meter and 70cm repeaters were working.
Richard, KE4BFX reported the station was working. Also, Steve, KJ4RWD worked hard and successfully got the Signal Link working on the TS-940.
Ron, KI5FR reported there is an attempt to get a technician class at the Live Oak Church on 26 Oct.
Phil, N6COP confirmed the website was working and has been renewed for another year.
Bob, N4CU went to the Okaloosa Gas Company with Ron, KI5FR on 11 Sept. to discuss training plans and to try to get their licenses put to use. They had an excellent meeting with potential ideas for training implementation.

Bob, W5RE will simulate relays to state EOC from his home QTH
Need additional volunteers for simulated shelters
Note: will need to notify Ken Wolfe of intent to be at the EOC on that Saturday.
Other SET event will occur in other counties 5-6 Oct

Ron, KI5FR has donated a $50 ARRL Gift Certificate for club to use and a Tektronics Oscilloscope after Luie, W4UVI checks it out.
A Motion to adjourn was made by Mike, KJ4FNA and seconded by Richard, KE4BFX and carried unanimously to accept the motion with no opposing votes.
