This meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Club President Bob N4CU, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the invocation.
The meeting was conducted by Club President Bob N4CU. There were 17 members present.
November minutes were posted on the W4AAZ.ORG website. A motion to accept the minutes as posted was made by Mike KJ4FNA. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously by a show of hands to accept the motion with no opposing votes.
The treasurer report was presented by Bob KI4MEU. A motion to accept the report was made by Roy K4NDJ. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously by a show of hands to accept the motion with no opposing votes.
Steve N4GXX reported the repeater is working fine. The only way to get the strobe noise eliminated is to either remove the strobe or remove the antenna off the tower.
Richard W4RLR reported this would be his last report. Due to personal reasons he is moving to Dunlop, Tennessee. He has enjoyed his time with us both in comradeship and in expanding his Ham knowledge through our Elmer’s.
Bob N4CU presented Richard W4RLR to newly named ”Jimmie Whitaker Ham of the Year Award” for his efforts at building and maintaining our station. You will be missed.
Ron KI5FR has no classes scheduled.
Phil N6COP reported the website is up and working well. Also a friendly reminder the Club Membership Dues are due starting the first of the year.
D-Star status was presented by Sharon KJ4TPQ. The gateway system is checked and up dated weekly, if not more. It remains healthy and stable, the user data base is backed up monthly and ready for emergency operational needs as well as routine use.

Chayne KI4WBN reported the only activity is our Christmas party. It will be on December 16th at 6 p.m. and located at North Bay Baptist Church 4681 Highway 20 in Niceville.
Steve Ron KI5FR presented the nominating committee findings for 2012 Club Officer nominations.

Bob KI4MEU made a suggestion that the by laws be amended to reflect the treasurer position be for no more than 3 years. There was discussion as to when this would take place. A motion was made by Steve N4GXX to table this discussion for the general membership meeting on January 12, 2012 so that more members could be present to amend the by laws. This motion was seconded and carried unanimously by a show of hands to accept the motion with no opposing votes. During this by law change, the annual dues increase needs to be amended as well.
Bob N4CU presented an ARRL Liability Insurance bill to the club that needs to get paid. A motion to pay the $327.36 bill was made by Steve N4GXX. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously by a show of hands to accept the motion with no opposing votes.
Cal W4GMH stated the club license needs to be renewed by August 2012.
We did a round table where activities were discussed. Bob WA6VVA then made a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously by a show of hands with no opposing votes.
