CAL-W4GMH reported the cans we sent out a month ago were back in place and working well. Our D-Star is having problems. We still have the strobe noise and research is being conducted on a way to quiet the noise. Our D-Star antenna is sitting next to another VHF antenna that operates our 36 machine. Mr. Potter reduced power to attempt to stop the bleed over. This did not help. There are other clubs that have the Honey-Well Strobe like ours that are experiencing the same noise. There is more research that needs to be done to quiet the strobe noise and possibly change the distance between antennas.
Ron-KI5FR requested we place information on the reflector to inform Hams that several Elmer's have CW kits to purchase. So folks wishing to learn CW could build their own kits. These kits require soldering skills, which Bob-WA6VVA will teach these future CW folks how to solder. Soldering irons have been seen on the internet for about $12.00. Classes will be scheduled at a later date.
Phil-N6COP stated the clubs web site is working well.
There was no one present to give the station report.
Bob-N4CU states there is nothing new in the county to report.

The Club Station can once again be open on Sunday afternoons to allow new Ham’s the opportunity to work a real radio and also get some training from the Elmer who is supervising. The club needs experienced ham’s to step up and help educate the newer members.
We have two towers that are still standing that were donated to NOARC. We need interested customers to view the towers, take them down and the remove them. The proceeds will be turned into the treasury. These two towers are located at the Crestview College Campus and at the Defuniak Springs Campus. Viewers and buyers are welcome to view and decide. If interested, please contact Cal-W4GMH at the radio station.
