We have purchased the bullets and the connectors are being placed on CAT 5 cable. A motion was made to purchase 1000 feet of STP cable Cat 5E with a box of connectors not to exceed $300.00 by Bob-KI4MEU. This cable will be used on the tower and is heavy enough to protect it from lighting strikes.
Ron-KI5FR requested we place information on the reflector to inform Hams that several Elmer's have CW kits to purchase. So folks wishing to learn CW could build their own kits. These kits require soldering skills, which Bob-WA6VVA will teach these future CW folks how to solder. Soldering irons have been seen on the internet for about $12.00. Classes will be scheduled at a later date.
